Salary is dependent on education and experience
Provides moderately complex (journey-level) case management work to veterans and their dependents. Work includes gathering documentation to determine veteran eligibility for the Texas Veterans Commission Mental Health Grant awarded to the Center. The TVC VMH Case Manager will provide case management and skills training to assist veterans in accessing needed resources related to the grant and in the community. Skills training will focus on mental health needs related to veterans and their dependents. Work involves developing and maintaining relationships with individuals served through the grant. May train others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The position is a regionwide position and will require travel within Pecan Valleys six-county region to meet the needs of veterans and achieve the goals of the grant.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in a social, behavioral or human services field is required;
Masters degree is preferred.
Experience: Experience in a social, behavioral, or human services occupation is preferred. Veteran status highly preferred.
Salary : $20 - $25
