What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at Peck Child Development Center?
1. To provide quality care for children between the ages of 2 and 10 years whose parents, because of employment or school away from home, cannot care for their own children in they’re own homes during the day.
2. To provide quality care for children of unemployed parents in such situations as the Department of Human Services may deem advisable.
3. To develop general community understanding and support of Peck Child Development Center, Inc. and the principles of such child care services.
4. To secure the cooperation of other community services in maintaining sound child care services.
5. To provide consultation to individuals and organizations on general matters relating to child care and early education of children.
6. To sponsor registered Child Development Homes in Jasper County so they can participate in the Child and Adult Food Care Program.
7. To offer a preschool curriculum to children at Peck in the daily programming.
8. To advance understanding of and support for quality child care in whatever means are available.
9. To offer career training to interested persons in the areas of child care, administration, and cooking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
