Travel
This position may require up to 5% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout the state of New York, and New England based on the needs of the business.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works outdoors and near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.

Essential Functions
- Safety always wins. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of dump and concrete mixer trucks, ensuring safety and operational compliance.
- Protect family and friends. Transport aggregate materials to and from designated locations while adhering to schedules and safety protocols.
- Committed to serve. Operate water trucks to assist with site maintenance, dust control, and plant equipment upkeep.
- Ownership and caring. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine upkeep, and proactively address potential mechanical issues to ensure reliability.
- Focused. Perform detailed morning maintenance tasks within the batch plant to prepare for daily production.
- Honesty and truth. Report any mixer truck deficiencies during pre-trip inspections to supervisors to prevent disruptions.
- Dedication. Operate mixer trucks as needed to support batching, transportation, and on-site deliveries.
- Results matter. Assist with general plant maintenance and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain efficiency.
- Obligated. Participate in inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and production goals.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. CDL not required.
- Must be able to work variable hours based on operational needs, including early starts, changing shifts, and occasional overtime
- Proven experience operating dump trucks, mixer trucks, water trucks, skid steers, or similar heavy equipment safely in diverse conditions
- Proficient in basic vehicle maintenance, including pre-trip inspections and minor repairs
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Must have a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and teamwork, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential for success in this role, including handling varying tasks and schedules
- Problem-solving mindset focused on achieving operational goals
- MSHA certification (can be obtained after hiring)
