Fleet Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of company vehicles and trailers
• Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Utilizing diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities

Requirements, Education and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in diesel mechanics, automotive repair, or related fields preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic working with a fleet of trucks and trailers, preferred
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools
