Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of Precast projects. This individual will lead the project team, collaborate with external stakeholders, and oversee key aspects of project execution, including contract management, schedule development, and cost control. The PM will also be responsible for maintaining accurate project records, coordinating material deliveries, and addressing any project variances.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Company Safety Policies and OSHA regulations
- Communicate and uphold the company's vision, values, and goals
- Develop and implement project safety initiatives and standards
- Review and prepare contract documents, including scopes, specifications, and subcontractor agreements
- Analyze bid documents and construction drawings to ensure project alignment
- Collaborate with design, plant, and shipping teams to develop and execute macro and micro schedules
- Oversee or manage project submittals, material deliveries, punch lists, certifications, inspections, and change orders
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, and files for documentation purposes
- Coordinate material purchasing, scheduling, and logistics for specialty production and delivery
- Monitor project financials using job cost reports to quickly identify and address variances
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant construction experience
- Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
- Experience with Solidworks preferred
- Excellent customer skills, inter-personal and decision-making skills required
- Organizational and documentation skills, ability to handle multiple assignments required
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Customer Service skills
- Proficient verbal and written English
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation required for travel to project sites within 4 hours of plant location (Boston MA, Metro NY & NJ areas)
Work Environment and Travel
This role requires frequent travel to project sites, which may involve overnight stays or longer periods. The work environment is mostly sedentary outside of traveling to construction sites. On occasion, the job will require going out in the field and visiting various organizations. This would require the ability to sit at a desk, frequent walking, bend or stand as necessary.
