We are currently looking for a Production Crew Member to join our team at Dailey Precast, LLC. This role involves working with our production team to set up and assemble precast concrete units.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations and guidelines.
You will review the previous day's production daily to identify areas for quality improvement and follow the crew leader's instructions to ensure a steady workflow. You will also be responsible for ensuring proper care of molds, tools, and equipment, and assisting in preparing and staging materials for the following day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and assemble precast concrete units
- Ensure adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations and guidelines
- Review the previous day's production daily to identify areas for quality improvement
- Maintain an efficient workflow by assisting in preparing and staging materials for the following day
- Notify the crew leader of any missing materials or information to prevent delays
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or vocational training in manufacturing or construction-related fields is a plus)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in precast concrete production, is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Basic understanding of production processes, scheduling, and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
