A Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquid asphalt terminal. Key responsibilities include loading asphalt tankers, moving product between tanks, and maintaining equipment and the yard. We're looking for an experienced professional who can prioritize safety, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Load asphalt tankers with the correct material, utilizing computer programs for accuracy
- Transfer and move products between tanks, adhering to strict safety protocols
- Maintain equipment and the yard, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
- Assist in manufacturing processes, communicating with colleagues and seeking feedback on new developments
- Perform plant housekeeping and cleanup, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy equipment, with a willingness to learn mobile equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early morning shifts
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in computer programs and software used in the role
- Valid driver's license and legal right to work in the U.S.
