Position Summary: The Facilities Services Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the facilities which occupy over 300 acres and 4,300 employees that service both manufacturing and administrative office environments. This role will coordinate maintenance requests, communicate with vendors, provide resources and ensure that facility operations are conducted efficiently and within company guidelines. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work with various internal departments and external vendors. This role will have direct reports.
Essential Duties:

Coordinate Facility Services:
- Manage and track service requests, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Coordinate maintenance and schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other critical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Vendor Management:
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure service delivery meets expectations and timelines.
- Oversee contracts and ensure that all work is done in accordance with agreed terms and quality standards.

Facility Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect the facility to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Manage janitorial, landscaping/snow removal and elevator services.
- Handle minor maintenance repairs or coordinate with maintenance staff for larger tasks.

Health & Safety Compliance:
- Monitor facility conditions to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Order supplies as needed and ensure timely restocking of essential items.

Budget & Cost Control:
- Assist in managing the facility’s budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in facility management.

Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as the point of contact for employees, contractors, and vendors regarding facility-related maintenance matters.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on facility conditions, service requests, and expenses to management.

Project Management:
- Lead facility-related projects such as renovations or upgrades.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. Respirator fit test will be required based on functional area.

Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business, or related field.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility/construction management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures.
- Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with facility management software.
