Phillips Edison’s operating platform provides retail services including acquisition, redevelopment, leasing and management of grocery-anchored retail centers.
What you’ll do:
The Information Technology Intern will report to the Technical Support Manager and work with the Desktop Support Specialist and other IT team members in person in our Cincinnati, OH office.
- Assist in functional team duties, including systems integration design, vendor software setup and configuration, application and technology research
- Assignment and completion of help desk tickets
- End user desktop support
- Application installation and troubleshooting
- Office 365 setup and administration
- Windows Server administration
- Network infrastructure configuration / troubleshooting (switching / routing)
- Assist in PC refresh project and Microsoft Teams phone system rollout
What you’ll learn:
Throughout the internship term this role provides the student with the following:
- Learn the IT process and systems used within the IT department
- Learn or further develop the process of documenting work performed on projects and communicating effectively with supervisors and company personnel
- Further develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels of the company
- Further develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time
What we’re looking for:
- A current undergraduate student who is able to work full-time in person during the semester
- A current university student enrolled in a degree seeking program studying Computer Science, Information Systems or another business-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently, with direction and guidance, and on a team (as needed)
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once
Please note that interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from the workplace, located at 11501 Northlake Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45249. We do not provide transportation services or reimbursements for travel expenses related to an intern's daily commute.
