Duties:
As a Packer at Peco Foods, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Key responsibilities include:

• Comply with all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and plant-specific procedures and rules.
• Inspect products for defects, both naturally and artificially occurring.
• Maintain efficient production levels while working safely and effectively.
• Familiarize yourself with specifications and requirements for each product.
• Safely operate equipment such as knives and scissors.
• Understand and comply with departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA).
• Meet food safety, HACCAP, and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently.
• Be available to work overtime when necessary to meet production needs.

Physical Demands:
The following physical demands are required for this role:

• Mobility within the department, including bending, stooping, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to stand for up to 100% of the scheduled shift.
• Repetitive use of hands, gripping, lifting, and cutting.
• Properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company and job-specific JHA.
• Lift and maneuver up to 50lbs.
• Work in extreme cold or hot temperatures.

Position Requirements:
This role requires no prior training, education, or experience. However, a urine drug test is mandatory.
