We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Peco Foods. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by monitoring in-process product, conducting environmental evaluations, and identifying potential food safety hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate control of assigned department, including monitoring of in-process product and environmental evaluations.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections, lock out/tag out with verification, and efficiently communicate with support teams (Sanitation, Maintenance, and Production).
- Navigate the usage of quality tools and equipment, including scales, calipers, thermometers, Sightline, and Infinity.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of production flow, including production codes, size limits, and label attributes.
- Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to immediate supervisor or plant management official.
- Follow written specifications for packaging and labeling of products.
