Are you a strategic and hands-on engineering professional looking to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re searching for a Plant Engineering & Maintenance Leader who will provide technical direction and drive operational excellence by maximizing equipment performance, optimizing maintenance strategies, and enhancing plant safety and efficiency.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead and implement plant-wide technical strategies focused on operations, safety, energy efficiency, engineering projects, and maintenance improvements.
- Foster a safety-first culture , ensuring that all operations prioritize workplace safety while meeting compliance standards.
- Develop and oversee engineering and maintenance strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring that all facility structures and infrastructure are fully optimized—including electrical, mechanical, boiler, and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal agencies as well as corporate insurance and risk management policies.
- Champion the use of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to enhance uptime and operational efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with vendors, corporate teams, and external agencies while staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
What You Bring to the Table :
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
5 years of experience in plant engineering, project management, or maintenance leadership—ideally within the food industry.
Strong background in automation and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) (Maximo preferred).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD to update and modify drawings as needed.
Ability to travel for vendor visits, training seminars, and corporate meetings related to technical strategy and capital planning.
