About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work as an Operations Coordinator in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain process from start to finish.
You will need to have a strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and production planning.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and monitoring supplier performance.
- Implement and monitor inventory control systems to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure efficient transportation of materials and finished products.
- Work closely with the production team to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and ensure alignment with customer delivery requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Proactively identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions.
