What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Meter Installer position at Pedal Valves Inc?
Now hiring Water Meter Installer Contractors to install new smart water meters for ALL of JEFFERSON PARISH. The project is about 4 years long. We're starting in Grand Isle and moving up from there. Grand Isle should only take a month. Outdoor work, Mechanical Aptitude needed. Plumbing or meter install experience preferred. Must have a Truck, SUV or Van to work out of. Installation Rates:
$15.00 Rate per Small Installation (5/8”, 5/8”X3/4", 3/4", or 1”)
$12.50 Rate per Curb Stop Replacement (5/8”, 5/8”X3/4", 3/4", or 1”)
$12.50 Rate per Pipe Modification (5/8”, 5/8”X3/4", 3/4", or 1”)
$1.00 Rate per Lid Replaced
$1.00 Rate per Cut Hole Plastic Lid
$2.50 Rate per Cut Hole Metal Lid
$15.00 Rate per Box Replacement (All sizes)
$15.00 Rate per Meter Excavation
$60.00 Rate per Intermediate Installation (1.5” or 2”)
$37.50 Rate per Curb Stop Replacement (1.5" or 2”)
$5.00 Rate per Pipe Type Identification (Pay voided when installer replaces box)
$80.00 Rate per Concrete Cut and Pour
$15.00 Rate per hour of specialty training if requested and provided by the Company
$200.00 Rate for daily specialty training if requested and provided by Company
$200.00 Rate for daily Installation set-up, repair, and break-down, if requested by the Company
Project Completion Bonus: In addition to the installation rates listed, an additional 10% pay will be added to a bonus bank for the installer for each dollar earned. For example, each completed 3” meter pays $140.00. An additional $14.00 will be added in the installer’s bonus bank. This bonus will accrue and be payable upon the satisfactory completion of the Project and once all financials have been closed
