As a Camp Leader, you will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the camp. Your duties will include:
- Planning and organizing camp programs and activities
- Managing a team of camp counselors and staff
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers
- Developing and implementing behavior management strategies
- Providing special education support to campers with diverse needs
- Supervising daycare services and ensuring a nurturing environment
- Providing tutoring and educational support to campers
- Coaching sports activities and promoting physical fitness
- Assisting with childcare duties as needed
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong behavior management skills to create a positive and structured environment
- Experience in special education to support campers with diverse needs
- Familiarity with daycare operations and regulations for effective supervision
- Ability to provide tutoring and educational assistance to campers of various ages
- Experience in sports coaching to lead engaging physical activities
- Previous babysitting experience to ensure the safety and well-being of campers
- Passion for educating and inspiring children in a camp setting
