What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hosts, Bussers position at Peddlers Village Partnership?
Hart's Tavern located in Peddler’s Village has Part-time & Seasonal Host & Busser positions available.
Work as a team to provide excellent service, attention, and hospitality to our guests in a professional and responsible manner.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Record names of "walk-in" guests on the reservation sheet and approximate waiting time.
- Greet guests on their arrival; make them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Show guests to their table, provide them with menus, and check tables to ensure they are set properly.
- Ensure equitable guest distribution of tables, referring to "Cover" counts.
- Assist with setting and bussing tables, according to standard.
- Respond to and answer guest's questions politely and responsibly.
- Answer incoming phone calls politely and professionally.
- Record guest reservations as needed and when instructed.
- Requires basic computer knowledge
- Great guest service
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Flexible schedule to include weekends & holidays
