This position is responsible for the full life-cycle management of assigned PEC applications (SaaS and / or on-premise), including installation, implementation, maintenance, integration, configuration and administration, through end-of-life and transition to replacement solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support and lead the overall health and performance of all assigned applicationsWork directly with vendor and IT Infrastructure team to upgrade and maintain assigned applicationsResponsible for change management, refreshes, upgrade scheduling, and monitoring system jobs and performanceWork with portfolio team to design, implement, integrate, or and / or enhance new applications and featuresServe as an expert resource to understand and configure all application functionality as well as support all aspects of technical application management including resolving complex technical issuesPartner with portfolio team and architects to configure and implement new features and ensure supportability of complete technology solutions; conduct or coordinate needed training for any impacted users or support teamsWork with IT Infrastructure and cyber security teams to ensure system hardware, operation systems, procedures and security meet application specifications and standardsManage scope, planning, and tracking deliverables for operational changes, upgrades, and projects. May also lead or provide hyper-care support and transition for new applications, features or enhancements from delivery to steady-state operational supportDevelop and implement policies, procedures and best practices for application governance including approval workflows, access policies, offboarding requirements, and compliance with industry standards and regulationsUnderstand application system architecture, all business processes, integrations, and data flows u sed by or performed by assigned applicationsCreate and maintain system design and technical documentationConduct system process reviews, as needed, with portfolio teams and vendors in order to optimize performance and reduce / eliminate riskInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues with applications and integrationsPerform root cause analysis on all production issues with recommendations for resolution and preventionWork with IT Infrastructure team and DBAs to troubleshoot, research and identify database and / or server issuesManage the integrity of security design, including participation in the implementation of backup and recovery processesAdminister application security access and roles to protect data and softwareCreate and maintain disaster recovery procedures for assigned applications and participate in the planning of operational procedures for backup and recovery of databaseAssist in determining future growth requirements of applications in areas such as database size, number of end-users and application functionality; works with IT Operations to address application capacity needsProactively monitor all applications and systems for high availability, and satisfactory response timeManage technical vendors and escalation to vendor teams as needed to ensure quality and timely supportResponsible for training and mentoring peers on assigned applicationsCreate and maintain technical and operation management documentation and specificationsComplete support tickets in a timely fashion, based on service level agreementsMaintain frequent communication with stakeholders, operations, and portfolio teamMaintain the security of confidential informationStay abreast of advances in technologyDemonstrate regular and prompt attendancePerforms other related duties as necessary or assignedSupervisory and / or Leadership Responsibilities

Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldDirectly related experience may substitute for educationFour years experience working in a related computer information system environment with emphasis in business analysis and process improvement, with two years technical implementationsPrior experience with Enterprise Application Integration AND / OR Security Administration; virtual server software (VMware); Linux; Oracle, SQL PL / SQL or similar scripting; cloud architecture preferred.ERP implementation experience preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment
