Position Summary
This Joint Use Administrator assist the Joint Use Department with day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for the coordination of efforts between the Cooperative’s Joint Use Department, contractors and consultants as they relate to joint use facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitate development of construction standards and guidelines related to joint use facilitiesAssist the Engineering department in the development of maintenance and construction proceduresWork with communication companies on applications of new pole contactsProcess joint use permits and inspect new attachments for compliance with District standardsPrepare Work Orders for replacement of facilities found by the pole inspection contractorReview and make recommendations for updates to the Districts Joint-Use ContractsFacilitate developing procedures and analysis methods including computer programsWork with customers to resolve problems associated with joint use facilitiesAssist other engineering personnel in the establishment, maintenance and use of the engineering records of the DistrictPrepare cost estimates and other information or support as may be necessary to apply or recommend changes in District policyPerforms tasks as assigned by the Joint Use Manager to help the Cooperative meet goals and expectationsCoordinate and monitor projects, working directly with other Cooperative departments / districts, attaching entities, and construction contractorsProvide general administrative support to the engineering and operations staff as requested by the supervisorUpdate electronic workflow tracking and other tracking documentsRequest, collect, and file (paper and / or electronic) documents such as easements, permits, inspections, applications, etc.Utilize data and tracking to provide reports as management and other departments requestMaintain the security of confidential informationStay abreast of advances in technologyDemonstrate regular and prompt attendancePerforms other related duties as necessary or assignedSupervisory and / or Leadership Responsibilities

Associate’s Degree in a field related to electric utility distribution and power design ORHS Diploma or equivalent ANDFive years of directly related work experienceAdvanced technical coursework in electrical distribution systems preferredValid Texas Driver’s LicensePhysical Demands and Work Environment
