Swing Shift Warehouse Associate

We are currently looking to add a member to our swing shift shipping/ powder coating team! Our ideal candidate is organized and detail oriented. Works well with others, and can complete verbal instructions quickly and efficiently.

If you are cheerful, willing to learn, and can help organize/ship products in a warehouse, we'd like to talk to you. You'll need to be good at handling multiple purchase orders under deadlines with attention to detail. You’ll need to know or be willing to learn how to powder coat. Prepare products for cleaning and powder coating. Wrap, assemble and box products for shipping. As part of a small shipping team, you'll support our sales team to ensure our customers receive their orders in perfect condition on a timely basis. Your reliability can improve our team chemistry and make a difference for the company.

This is a swing shift, we can be flexible for the right candidate. Our swing shift works 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday- Friday

Responsibilities:

-Willingness to be trained thoroughly in shipping and Powder coating

-Read purchase orders, shipping documentation and drawings

-Pick/pull products from shelves according to purchase orders

-Handle multiple purchase orders simultaneously

-Follow a shipping schedule on time

-Coordinate with Sale Department on priorities

-Prepare for UPS, FedEx, and freight pickups

-Pack/palletize raw product correctly

-Prepare products for powder coating

-Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse

-Load trucks with a forklift

-Stock shelves in a neat and orderly manner

-Adhere to safety standards

-Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

-Be positive in a team environment

-Be punctual and reliable in your attendance

-Have excellent communication skills

-Be a self-starter with good time management skills

-Able to lift 50lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally

-Forklift experience is a plus, but we will train

-Powder coat experience is a plus, but we will train

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
