Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (24-32 Hours)

We're looking for someone to work 3-4 shifts per week. Must be able to regularly work at least 1 weekend day.

The Pedestrian Shops is a family owned and operated business selling comfortable footwear and accessories. We're seeking an experienced, responsible salesperson who enjoys working with people and being part of a team. This position will include assisting customers, ringing up sales, stock work, light cleaning, and merchandising. We pride ourselves in providing a high-information, low-pressure sales environment - so the desire to learn about the shoes and brands (Birkenstock, Lems, Chaco, Teva, Merrell, Dansko, Smartwool...) that we carry and then share that knowledge with customers is a must!

This is not a seasonal position. We are seeking candidates who will want to continue working through the summer and beyond.

We are interested in candidates who:

• Have 1 years of related retail sales experience (shoe sales experience preferred, but apparel, outdoor, and related categories will be considered)
• Can be available for 3-4 shifts per week (full 8 hour shifts. Typically 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm). MUST BE AVAILABLE TO REGULARLY WORK SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. Some 6 hour shifts may be considered.
• Are friendly, hardworking, and courteous
• Want to assist customers and sell comfortable footwear and accessories

Previous retail sales associate, sales representative, sales assistant experience preferred.
