Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations in-office and in-home / day cares to diagnose mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapy services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to patients in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the hospital to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to interns or junior staff as needed.
- Offer child family counseling services, addressing the unique needs of children and their families.
- Work closely with individuals with disabilities, providing tailored support and interventions.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice psychology.
- ADOS Certification is preferred.
- 3 years or more of pediatric assessment and / or treatment experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record management is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
