What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Charge Nurse position at Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine, LLP?

Location: LPN positions available in Scarsdale and NYC offices
Work Hours: full-time position
Requirements:
Flexible shifts including rotation of weekends.
Knowledge of EMR a must, ECW preferred
Current NYS Nursing License
Duties will include:
Monitor adherence to staff assignments calendars (room stocking, culture logs)
Improve and monitor adherence to nursing opening/closing checklists.
Monitor and ensure daily immunization counts are accurate in fridge and in EMR.
Monitor and ensure accurate documentation by nursing staff (labs, nebs, vitals)
Optimize and create office workflow (status updates, assigning patients as necessary)
Triage patients calls as needed.
Monitor and ensure all medical prior authorizations are completed by nursing staff.
Complete medical/school forms for patients.
Escort patients from waiting to exam room and obtain vital signs on patients (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, height/weight)
Perform routine EKGs Provide phlebotomy services on patients from newborn through adolescent.
Monitor and ensure all labs are Labeled and prepared for processing.
Assist physicians in performing routine office procedures.
Administer injections/immunizations to patients based on physician’s orders-on patients from newborn through adolescent.
Ensure proper documentation of all administered vaccines and all labs processed/results in patient encounter by nursing staff.
Provide patient education regarding office and home procedures.
Clean and prepare exam rooms for each patient encounter.
