The Nurse Educator will work closely with nursing staff to train and educate using a supportive, team-centered approach. This position requires exceptional leadership and nursing skills to mentor and guide our staff, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are met. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment and maintaining positive working relationships with staff, managers, providers and leadership while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a role model and leader, providing expertise and guidance to nurses and all clinic staff members.
- Comprehensive Onboarding: Collaborate and facilitate a robust onboarding process and offer ongoing learning opportunities.
- Teamwork & Mission Alignment: Perform all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects our mission.
- Training & Education: Effectively train and educate nurses and cross-train other roles as needed.
- Policy & Workflow Management: Stay current on policies, systems workflows, training guidelines, and software updates.
- BLS Instruction: Teach Basic Life Support (BLS) classes to our providers and nurses.
- Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support the training department.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work performed at the Administration Office
- Understand and teach the standard Nurse duties
- Educate Nurses and cross train other roles within scope of practice
- Retrain existing Nurses
- Collaboration with Staff Development Manager throughout the training process
- Review, revise and create training materials
- Participate in the training activities assigned to and/or planned by the Staff Development Team
- Be familiar with and able to train in any clinic
- Possess reliable transportation and willingness to travel to all clinics
- Maintain knowledge of EHR by staying current on updates and workflow changes to train and support new and existing employees
- Provide Electronic Health Record (EHR) training and support for all staff & Providers
- Provide encouragement and support during the training process
- Create a non-judgmental and safe learning environment
- Adapt training plans to accommodate different learning styles and needs
- Communicate with team members & manager regularly via email, Teams, etc.
- Maintain and develop computer skills as needed for job
- Keep current on Allegro Pediatrics policies, systems workflows, training guidelines and software updates
