What are the responsibilities and job description for the LVN/RN Nurse position at Pediatric Associates of Abilene?
LVN/RN needed for busy pediatric office to support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Must be able to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Schedule includes working at both office locations, working weekends, call time, and later than 5 PM if needed.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Provide guidance to Medical Assistants
- Administer vaccines
- Answer patient phone calls
Skills
- Proven working experience as a LVN/RN
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software'
