Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time pediatric physician to join our team. With over 50 years of service to Metroplex families, Pediatric Associates of Dallas (PAD) prides itself on providing unparalleled access and care predicated on trust and exceptional patient care. Our two convenient locations offer flexible schedules for our staff, including extended weekends and evening hours.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Conduct initial patient screenings and comprehensive physical examinations.
  • Record and update patients’ medical histories and symptoms, ensuring accuracy at each appointment.
  • Develop and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Order, and analyze diagnostic tests and treatments and determine follow-up appointments and additional treatment options.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while meeting mutually agreed-upon productivity metrics.
  • Serve as a resource for ongoing care and guidance.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Hours :

  • Tuesday-Friday with some evening availability and in the weekend rotation (one Saturday and one Sunday per month)
  • No call
  • No rounds

    • Education and Experience :

  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience.
  • Valid DEA.
  • Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work.
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management systems and medical records technology.
  • Understanding of relevant federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based medicine and disease prevention strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
