We are a private outpatient pediatric clinic in the heart of Fayetteville, NC. We are located one block from Cape Fear Valley hospital. The office is a busy, well-established “Kid Friendly” pediatric practice in a state-of-the-art medical facility that serves a diverse population. As a team of professionals, we strive to provide excellent quality health care with compassion, integrity, skill, and knowledge. Must be a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician or APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant). In this position, you will receive excellent compensation and great benefits.
Position Summary:
Full /Part-time excellent job opportunity available for an MD, PA, or NP (Pediatric experience a plus) to join this friendly, team-oriented staff at our pediatric practice in Fayetteville, NC. The focus is on providing the absolute highest level of quality pediatric care. There is no attendance at the cesarean section nor night or weekend Calls. Hospitalists are available for acute ward care as well. This position is full/part-time. Here, the physicians provide outstanding mentorship as needed for faculty and staff.
Hours are M-F 8-5 with No Nights or Weekend Calls.
What our providers do:
· Maintain collegial relationships with supervising MD and other providers
· Provide primary care to patients
· Record patient medical histories
· Perform initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
· Set up and monitor medical equipment
· Order and administer diagnostic tests
· Communicate test results to patients and their families
· Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment
· Instruct patients and their families about best practices at home
· Refer patients to specialists as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of current medical theory, regulations, and practices to give and evaluate patient care
· Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish/ maintain a safe work environment
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
· Desire to work in an outpatient facility
· Ability to work effectively with all practice departments to ensure excellent patient care
· Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
· Strong understanding of the needs of diverse and underserved communities
· Eclinical works EMR knowledge a plus but not required
· Bilingual (English and Spanish) with experience serving a multinational, multiracial population a plus but not required
