Pay: $40-43/hr (based on experience)
Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate per diem Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.
As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease.

Location: You will travel to various offices located in Northeast and West Philadelphia, and Montgomery and Delaware County.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Radiology certification
- CPR certification
