About the Job

We are an established, award winning, pediatric dental and orthodontic specialty office in Livermore (child, teen and young adult). We are looking for an energetic, team player who loves to work as a team and with children. We are seeking a full-time or part-time RDAEF2 who is experienced in restorative care to be a positive long-term addition to our team. The ideal candidate is positive, has a strong work ethic, strong communication and interpersonal skills and loves to work with children.

You will have the opportunity to learn new restorative techniques and expand your skills at an established, privately-owned, new state of the art office with top of the line equipment and materials. The practice also runs sold-out, hands-on courses for dentists who fly in from all of the US. We practice a large variety of esthetic restorations on permanent anterior teeth. You will also have the opportunity to develop and teach courses for your colleagues with a revenue share. We just opened our new 5,700 sq ft. office at the corner of Holmes Street and Concannon Blvd. in The Well at Sunset Plaza. We custom designed the office to provide state of the art dentistry in a comfortable and beautiful environment. All records are paperless and digital radiography is used.

You must have an active California RDAEF2 license / coronal polishing license along with 1 year experience providing restorative care. If you do not meet these requirements, please do not apply.

Job Highlights :

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to) :

  • Greeting patients and parents and escorting them to chair.
  • Updating patient history, note any new changes in medical history, etc. since previous visit.
  • Perform prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
  • Take digital x-rays.
  • Assist in general anesthesia dental cases.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with Doctor during patient visit.
  • Ability to listen to the Doctor and take accurate and thorough notes in patient chart.
  • Treat patient and parents with respect.
  • Assist Doctor in restorative procedures.
  • Communicate well with team members and always be willing to help where needed.
  • Create treatment plans.
  • Assist in set-up and clean up of chairs / rooms.
  • Educate patients and parents to assist in positive home care.
  • Stock rooms, prepare patient take home bags, help keep office organized.
  • Other skills preferred are :

  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Computer literate (specifically Eaglesoft).
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Experience with Digital x-rays.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly.
  • Patient care oriented.
  • Flexible and adapts well to change.
