Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them throughout their visit.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the provider's time.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health information systems.
- Provide administrative support by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with insurance verification and patient registration processes.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and address any concerns that arise during visits.
- Educate patients about procedures, treatments, and office policies as needed.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental administrative support tasks and dental terminology is essential.
- Strong office management skills, including proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
