Orientation and Mobility Specialist Qualifications
- Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) certification
- Experience working with individuals with visual impairments
Orientation and Mobility Specialist Responsibilities :
- Offering mobility training to individuals with visual impairments or developmental disabilities.
- Evaluating and implementing individual treatment plans.
- Ordering adaptive devices.
- Advocating for accommodations or accessibility improvements for students.
- Serving as a counselor.
