In this role, you'll work closely with leadership and subject matter experts across teams-clinical, legal, finance, HR-to gather the right info, write clear and persuasive responses, and complete all the necessary forms (yes, including pricing and compliance). What You'll Do
- Review RFPs to understand requirements, deadlines, and what evaluators are looking for
- Develop timelines and keep everyone on track to meet submission deadlines
- Write and edit proposal content-executive summaries, technical responses, organizational info, etc.
- Complete pricing forms, cost breakdowns, and rate sheets accurately
- Fill out and organize legal documents, certifications, and compliance forms
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate and current information
- Format and package responses for electronic or physical submission
- Keep track of submitted proposals, deadlines, and outcomes
- Build and maintain a proposal content library so we're never starting from scratch
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Policy, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience writing RFPs, grant proposals, or technical documents
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail-especially in pricing and compliance forms
- Comfortable interpreting detailed instructions and navigating bureaucracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills-you love a checklist
- Able to take feedback, adjust quickly, and collaborate with a variety of teams
- Bonus if you have experience with government, healthcare, or education proposals
- Familiar with Microsoft Word/Excel; experience with proposal software is a plus
