What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) position at Pediatric Health Care Alliance?
We are currently looking for, Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) who enjoy working with children and providing quality care to them and their families within our Fish Hawk location.
Hours will vary, but operational hours are as follows:
- Mon-Thurs: 8am - 6pm
- Fri: 8am - 5pm
- Sat/Sun: 8am - 11:30am (rotating weekends, 1-2x shifts per month at sister site)
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prior medical experience required, preferably in pediatrics.
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
- LPNs must be licensed.
- MAs must possess a nationally accredited certification or be able to obtain a certification within 90 days of hire.
Essential Functions:
Perform vitals, administer injections and immunizations, assist with triaging, urinalysis, well visits, rooming patients, and many other day to day back office responsibilities.
