Pediatric Home Service is a leader in home health care, we are committed to taking care of the child! PHS has been committed to providing state-of-the-art home medical equipment, supplies, clinical respiratory care and enteral nutrition services since 1987. We are looking for an experienced leader in home health care who will be responsible for the overall direction of all customer-facing departments.
- Position : Area Manager
- Location : Richardson, Texas
- Hours : Monday-Friday,(8a-5p)
In office, on call as needed
THE ROLE :
The Area Manager oversees all customer-facing and operational activities to ensure high-quality patient care and effective team performance. This includes managing staff hiring, training, and development; coordinating patient services; and resolving issues with patients, families, and internal teams. The role involves preparing reports, budgets, and improvement plans, collaborating with leadership on strategic goals, and maintaining compliance with professional standards. Additionally, the manager negotiates with vendors, manages facility needs, and implements workflows and training programs to support continuous improvement in pediatric home health and DME service.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units / assigned staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
