Pediatric Home Service is a leading provider of healthcare services to children with complex medical needs. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) in implementing care protocols to meet patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by protocols.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed services and interventions.
- Collaborate with RNs to update care protocols based on patient clinical status.
- Provide education and support to patients and families in disease management and care.
- Communicate patient observations promptly to primary/specialty physicians.
- Maintain accurate medical records reflecting nursing interventions and patient progress.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Current State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Minimum of two years pediatric nursing experience.
- Completion of a pediatric basic life support certification course; current CPR card.
- PALS & NRP Certification preferred.
