Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests that help diagnose neurological conditions. This role requires hands on experience as well as the ability to provide compassionate care to patients in children of 0-21 years of age. The position will start as a part time position and can become a full time position in the future.
Duties
- Conduct EEG tests by placing electrodes on patients' scalps and monitoring brain activity.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Record and analyze EEG data to assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Be on time and communicate effectively
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Stay updated on advancements in EEG technology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
- Prior experience as an EEG Technician
