What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Pediatric Ophthalmology?

The ideal candidate has the ability to interface with clients in a professional manner, has experience working at a fast paced front desk and has great attention to detail. The Front Desk Receptionist must be flexible, able to multi-task, and must be highly organized. Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls and respond appropriately.
- Provide customer service to clients and others either in person or over the phone.
- Answer medical questions for physicians and other medical professionals.
- Answer general questions about the practice.
- Provide clerical support for business operations, including word processing, mailing, filing and faxing,chart prep,insurnce eligibility,and insurance referrals.
- Order supplies and keep supplies stocked.
- Receive and store incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Order business cards and stationery.
