Medical Assistant Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Certified/Registered Medical Assistant who is an energetic, people-oriented individual. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of patient flow within a primary care setting, including the patient intake process, the ability to perform a limited scope of lab tests, and experience in vaccine administration.
Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient intake and assist with the patient flow process
- Perform limited lab tests as required
- Administer vaccines in accordance with practice protocols
- Provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with families
- Assist with front office tasks as needed
Medical Assistant Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Half day off per week
- One Saturday morning per month
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant
- Knowledge of pediatric office practices is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
