Job Summary:
The LVN will be responsible for providing nursing care to a female patient who is 11 months old and has a G-tube. The LVN will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing basic care to the patient. The LVN will also be responsible for documenting patient care and communicating with the healthcare team.
Shifts: Mon-Thurs 9p-7a
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide basic care to the patient, including feeding, bathing, and changing diapers
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Communicate with the healthcare team regarding the patient's condition and progress
- Assist with the development and implementation of the patient's care plan
- Ensure that the patient's environment is safe and clean
Qualifications:
- Current LVN license in the state of Texas
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience with G-tube care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
