The Department of Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Board-Eligible / Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to join as full-time faculty at CHRISTUS Children’s, the first and only freestanding, academic, not-for-profit children’s hospital in San Antonio. Located in the nation’s seventh largest city and the second largest city in Texas, San Antonio offers a pediatric population expected to grow an additional 30 percent over the next 20 years , offering an exceptional professional opportunity.
The successful candidate will be physicians with a commitment to clinical quality and excellence. This role will be responsible for clinical anesthesia services for cardiovascular pediatric procedures. The anesthesiologist may provide anesthesia services for General and OB Anesthesiology.
The position comes with a faculty appointment, along with a competitive salary and full benefits package, and is employed by Baylor College of Medicine. The candidates’ credentials and experience will determine the rank of the academic appointment.
