Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA. The successful candidate will provide quality care for clinically complex pediatric residents in a home-like atmosphere. This role involves evaluating individual needs, developing personalized care plans, and ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Screen and evaluate the needs of ventilator and respiratory clients
• Identify individual problems and needs through continuous objective data collection
• Consult with attending physicians regarding treatment protocols
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and evaluation of individual care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved respiratory techniques
• Initiate ventilator weaning protocol and/or respiratory rehabilitation as ordered by physicians
Qualifications:
• Minimum Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active, unencumbered state Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist certification
• Valid CPR certification from AHA Healthcare Provider
