Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling, instruction, and mentorship to students dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate eligibility for special education services.
- Boost student achievement by identifying learning barriers and recommending effective instructional strategies.
- Develop and implement interventions and student progress monitoring systems.
- Support individualized instruction and contribute to creating positive classroom environments.
- Collect and analyze data related to school improvement, student outcomes, and accountability requirements.
- Advocate for school policies and programs that ensure student safety and maintain conducive learning environments.
- Lead crisis response efforts, providing direct services and referrals to community support services as needed.
