Job description :
- Performs thorough evaluations, documents findings, and creates a plan of care tailored to each child.
- Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
- Evaluates the results of Physical Therapy by observing, noting, and assessing patient's progress, recommending, and implementing adjustments and modifications.
- Utilizes current research to provide therapeutic intervention that is fun and engaging.
- Documents all therapy sessions in an accurate and timely manner according to company policy.
- Communicates with parents regarding plan of care and home exercise programs.
- Collaborates with team members.
- Complies with federal and state Physical Therapy regulations and ethics.
- Adheres to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains professional knowledge by attending education workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal / professional networks; participating in professional societies.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
