We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. You will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy services that empower children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to children under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
- Educate and support families on therapy techniques and strategies to use at home.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education requirements.
Requirements:
- Active Louisiana license.
- Ability to manage patients with different involvement levels.
- Willingness to learn and develop skill set.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, patience, and empathy.
