Job Overview:
Pediatrics West is an independently owned practice that provides personalized healthcare to children and their families. The clinic provides a high level of continuity by understanding an individualś needs to help them stay safe and happy.
Our office is seeking an upbeat and genuine individual(s) to work PRN. The role would be to fill in for our regular staff with occasional shifts (9:30am-1:30pm or 1pm-close), or to assist with vaccine clinics. There is not a guaranteed number of hours with this position. This role must work collaboratively with all clinic staff in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility and displaying a positive demeanor. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for good/work life balance or looking to supplement another position.
Responsibilities:
Rooms patients and obtains relevant medical history and vital signs
Administer and document vaccines
Performs capillary phlebotomy and running Clia waived labs such as rapid streps
Performs telephone triage and recommends appropriate course of action with physician supervision
Organizes and prepares exam rooms and maintains a clean, safe, and well stocked environment
Requirements:
BSN degree and current WI nursing license
Minimum 1 year of RN experence in a clinic setting; phone triage experience preferred
Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
Ability to provide detailed and compassionate pediatric medical care in a fast paced work environment
Covid-19 and influenza vaccine required
Pay: $25.00 per hour
