We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team and help us continue delivering excellent care to our young patients and their families.
Job Summary:
As an APRN in Pediatrics, you will work collaboratively with our team of pediatricians, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive primary care, including well-child visits, sick visits, and preventive care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric healthcare, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications as needed
- Perform well-child check-ups, immunizations, and health screenings
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Collaborate with pediatricians and healthcare team members to ensure the best patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Provide compassionate, family-focused care in a friendly, supportive environment
Qualifications:
- Current ARNP license in Florida (Pediatric or Family NP Certification preferred)
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric or family practice (preferred)
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)
- Passion for working with children and their families in a collaborative care setting
