Job Description
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) will be responsible for providing 24-hour, in-house coverage in the Level-III NICU and intermediate unit. They will also care for preemies and term babies who require mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation, and total body cooling.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to neonates in the NICU and intermediate unit.
- Care for preemies and term babies with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
Requirements
To be successful as an NNP at Pediatrix, you will need:
- A current APRN national specialty certification.
- A minimum of a master's degree in nursing or related field.
- Recent experience working in a Level-III NICU setting.
