Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE neonatologist to join our practice in Norman, OK, located 20 miles south of Oklahoma City.
- Group consists of 6 neonatologists with call from home
- Coverage at Norman Regional Medical Center, a 26-bed Level-III NICU with an ADC of 14, and Mercy Health Center, a 43-bed Level-III NICU with an ADC of 29
- Services include HFOV and jet ventilators
- NNP coverage at both hospitals
- Sub-specialty support includes pediatric surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at Mercy, and MFM and OB-ED support at Norman
- Required participation in QI and process improvement, and involvement in staff development and best practice education as well as community outreach and service line enhancement/growth/development/strategic planning
- Patient and family centered provider with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Norman, OK, located 20 miles south of Oklahoma City and the third largest city in OK, was recently recognized as one of the most progressive cities in the state. Additionally, the Norman public school system was acknowledged as the top school system in OK. It is home to the University of Oklahoma, the largest university in the state, and the National Weather Center. Norman enjoys many cultural attractions including festivals and community events.
