About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our neonatology practice at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and secondary medical care to newborns and premature infants in the NICU
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
- Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of a master's degree
- Completion of a Neonatal PA training program or current PA experience in a Neonatal ICU
