Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our team at HCA Southeast Houston Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and experience working in a Level III NICU setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients and identify potential complications or concerns
- Develop and implement plans to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Level III NICU setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
