Responsibilities
Pediatrix has an opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to cover the well-baby nursery at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington.
Qualifications
Pay Range (Base Pay): $115,000 - $135,000 per year and is based on years of relevant experience.
Regular Full-time Is Classified As Team Members Who Are Consistently Scheduled And Work 30 Hours Or More On a Weekly Basis. Regular Full-time Team Members Are Eligible For The Following

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team members who meet the plan’s minimum age requirement can enroll in the plan at any time, and contributions will begin as soon as administratively possible.
Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.
Paid Sick Leave
Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.
NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.

Responsibilities

- Full-time position working 8-hour day shifts (40 hrs/week) in the newborn nursery with an ADC of 8-20. Requires some weekend and holiday coverage.
- NBN supported by in-house neonatologists
- Responsibilities include seeing unassigned patients, and providing admission/discharge/progress notes
- Attendance at deliveries is not required, circumcisions not required
- Previous PNP and newborn nursery experience preferred
Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master’s degree
